🎉U.K. Creative Maths Challenge Results🎉

I'm so grateful that the famous TV presenter, author and maths teacher Bobby Seagull* is announcing the results of our national maths competition. Watch the videos to find out who the winner and 2 runners-up are for each age category…

14-15 age category

16-18 age category

Congratulations to everyone who entered - we received such a high volume of entries! We were all amazed at the quality of mathematical reasoning as well as the incredible creativity of communicating your ideas too.

Next steps & prizes

To celebrate, all winners and runners-up will receive a certificate.

The winner of each age category also gets a surprise prize - I will email you about this shortly. The winners will also have their entry published on Pioneer's website.

Well done everyone!🥳

To wrap up

I'm so grateful to have run this competition this summer along with 3 fantastic organisations. I'd like to say a huge thank you to MEI, IMA and the University of Leicester for your incredible help - we couldn't have done it without you.

Special thank you to our lead judge Karrie Liu, our UoL representative Shamia Sanjania and Rachel Beddoes from MEI for her continuous support throughout this competition.

Look out for future similar competitions - much more to come next year!
